CCTT Secretariat  

The Secretariat of the Coordinating Council on Transsiberian transportation is the executive body of the CCTT. The main function of the Secretariat is to implement the decisions taken by the Coordinating Council and by the Chairman of the Council and to coordinate the activity of the members of the CCTT in matters related to the operation of the TSR.

Other key objectives and functions of the Secretariat:

  • Preparing Meetings of the Coordinating Council;
  • Elaborating norms and regulations documents concerning transportation practices together with the carriers and with the clients of the TSR;
  • coordinating the interaction of all participants of international cargo transportation via the Transsiberian route;
  • Publicizing the Transsiberian Service on the world transportation service market;
  • Representing the Coordinating Council at all Russian transport bodies and international transportation agencies;
  • Assisting the members of the Coordinating Council in handling issues faced during the transportation of transit as well as import and export cargo on the TSR;
  • Maintaining contacts with the Chairman and the members of the Coordinating Council on all matters related to the activity of the CCTT.

    Secretary General

    Gennady Bessonov

    Gennady Bessonov was born in 1950. He graduated from the Fergana Polytechnic Institute in 1973, the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation in 1992, and the Higher Diplomatic courses of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2001.

    He had worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 1987 to 2005 and held various diplomatic posts in the Central office of the Ministry and abroad. From 2001 to October 2005 Mr. Bessonov had been the Consul General of the Russian Federation in Gothenburg (Sweden). Starting December 2005, Gennady Bessonov is the Secretary General of the CCTT.

    Boris Lukov

    Boris Lukov was born 1925 in the city of Dniepropetrovsk, graduated from the Military Diplomatic Academy and since 1956 had been in military diplomatic service.

    Since 1971 he had been with the International Relations Department of the Ministry of Railway Transport of the Russian Federation. From 1996 up till December 2005 he had been Deputy Secretary General of the CCTT. Since December 2005 he is active as Advisor to the Secretary General of the CCTT.

    Hans Reinhard

    Hans Reinhard was born in 1958 in St. Gallen, Switzerland. After graduating from the Swiss Institute of Commerce as Master of Economics for transports and logistics, he completed his studies in management of business administration at the Institute for Young Entrepreneurs in St. Gallen. In his business carreer, he went through all levels of management in different well-reputed international transport and forwarding companies including employments abroad.

    Since the beginning of the 90’s, Mr. Reinhard is mainly involved in the management of companies focusing on railway transportation services with the C.I.S. Presently he acts as the CEO of the Swiss based InterRail group. In May 2006, he was appointed as Deputy Secretary General of the CCTT for Europe.

    Republic of Korea and adjacent regions

    Kyung-Ho Park

    Kyung-Ho Park was born in Seoul in 1949. He had worked in the logistics department of Lucky Gold Star company (presently LG Group) from 1973 to 1981. From 1981 to 1986 he had worked in the International Transport and Insurance Department of KUKJE Group, and was active as a Counselor of KSC (Korean Shippers Council), part of KITA (Korean International Trade Association).

    In 1986 he founded DAE-A Transport company, and in 1992 — DAE-A Intra. Mr. Kyung-Ho Park is President CEO of both companies. From March 2001 till the present moment he is Chairman of the Northern Transportation Council and BOD Member of KIFFA, Korean International Freight Forwarders Association. Starting October 2003, Mr. Kyung-Ho Park is Deputy Secretary General of the CCTT.

    Teruhisa Koizumi

    Teruhisa Koizumi was born in 1950 in Yokosuka, Japan. He started his career with Nissin Corporation in 1973, working with harbor transportation, shipping agency and TSR business. From 1981 to 1986, he had been Deputy Branch Manager of Nissin London Office and a Company Secretary of Nissin (UK) Ltd. From 1994 to 1999 he had been active as Managing Director of TransRail Japan Ltd.

    Since 2005, he has been working as General Manager, CIS Dept. of Nissin Corporation and as Deputy Secretary General of CCTT for Japan.

“Coordinating Council on Transsiberian Transportation” (Switzerland)

in Russia

Head of Representative office of the International Association "CCTT” (Switzerland) in Russia is Secretary General of the CCTT. The main objectives and functions of the Representative office are:

  • Strategic planning of CCTT activities;

  • Arranging and ensuring the implementation of the decisions taken by the CCTT;

  • Representing the interests of the CCTT on the territory of the Russian Federation;

  • Arranging and carrying out working meetings of CCTT members on matters related to the activities of the CCTT;

  • Providing visa support to members and partners of the CCTT;

  • Supplying the CCTT with information on current state of international cargo transportation market;

  • Supporting the activity of the CCTT Working group on improving the competitiveness of the Transsiberian transportation;

  • Supporting the activity of the CCTT Working group on cargo transportation on the sea leg of the TSR;

  • Preparing and carrying out the Plenary meetings of the CCTT;

  • Preparing annual reports on the activities of the Representative office of the International Association “CCTT” (Switzerland) in Russia;

  • Providing depository for the constituent and internal documents of the Representative office of the International Association “CCTT” (Switzerland) in Russia.
